Todo mundo, de todas as p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00f5es em \u00e1reas correlatas est\u00e1 convidado a participar.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Os Simp\u00f3sios do Programa tem se mostrado como uma rica oportunidade de intera\u00e7\u00e3o entre os grupos de pesquisa, de atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o conjunta sobre a produ\u00e7\u00e3o do programa e das perspectivas da Nanoci\u00eancia e Materiais Avan\u00e7ados. O advento da Nanoci\u00eancia trouxe expectativas de avan\u00e7os ainda n\u00e3o totalmente concretizados. Para o desenvolvimento de novos materiais e de instrumentos \u00f3ticos e eletr\u00f4nicos revolucion\u00e1rios, sabemos que j\u00e1 n\u00e3o basta o dom\u00ednio da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de nanoestruturas das mais variadas formas e tamanhos com uma multiplicidade de propriedades.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A vis\u00e3o mais atual \u00e9 que esfor\u00e7os devem ser direcionados para o desenvolvimento de sistemas inteligentes capazes de atuarem em modo de cascata de ativa\u00e7\u00e3o. Outro avan\u00e7o importante \u00e9 representado pelos metamateriais diel\u00e9tricos, ou seja, cristais anisotr\u00f3picos com resposta eletromagn\u00e9tica de baixa perda que trazem\u00a0a expectativa de poss\u00edvel integra\u00e7\u00e3o de ex\u00f3ticos efeitos eletromagn\u00e9ticos em pr\u00e1ticos dispositivos fot\u00f4nicos e o confinamento de subdifra\u00e7\u00e3o e direcionamento da luz sem metais.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Portanto, a Nanoci\u00eancia est\u00e1 na base dos extraordin\u00e1rios avan\u00e7os tecnol\u00f3gicos do futuro e invariavelmente associada \u00e0 Ci\u00eancia dos Materiais Avan\u00e7ados.\u00a0O avan\u00e7o na funcionalidade dos materiais envolve n\u00e3o apenas obter novas propriedades e melhor desempenho como tamb\u00e9m a sustentabilidade. A abordagem para o desenvolvimento de novos materiais envolve a pesquisa experimental associada \u00e0 simula\u00e7\u00e3o e modelagem.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Em cada Simp\u00f3sio a vis\u00e3o da fronteira do conhecimento da Nanoci\u00eancia e dos Materiais Avan\u00e7ados, suas novas perspectivas de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o e o interc\u00e2mbio de produ\u00e7\u00e3o dos diferentes grupos do programa se renovam. Os Simp\u00f3sios s\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m uma oportunidade para discutir as estrat\u00e9gias de crescimento do Programa O interc\u00e2mbio de informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre inova\u00e7\u00e3o estimula novas cria\u00e7\u00f5es e parcerias cient\u00edficas. Nossos Simp\u00f3sios agregam os membros discentes e docentes do Programa para atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o, motiva\u00e7\u00e3o e coopera\u00e7\u00f5es que nos mant\u00e9m nos rumos da excel\u00eancia
